Please
assist one of our readers.
DO YOU IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS "BORDERLNE" or
has a mental health professional told you that you have a "borderline
personality disorder"? Would you like to take part in a research
project and be interviewed about your experiences of accessing mental
health services as a "borderline" client? I am looking
for individuals who have had substantial contact with adult mental
health services in the last three years, who are aged between 18
and 60, who live in England, and who match a number of other criteria.
Think you might be interested? Get in touch and I'll provide you
with further information about the project and who can be included.
You can contact me on suresearch@lancaster.ac.uk

And
again please
assist another one of our readers who is currently studying
at Nottingham Trent University for an MSc in Psychology. As
part of this course she is required to undertake a research
project of her choosing.
There
is a need to collect data for this project which is on the psychosocial
sources of the self-stigma associated with seeking psychological
help (bit of a mouthful!).
The
research covers if any particular social grouping (family, partner,
friends, work etc) has the strongest influence on an individual's
level of self-stigma specifically concerning seeking help for
psychological issues such as depression and anxiety.
Please
assist Liz to complete her research - The PsychNet-UK Team
